My animals =) I know they aren't technically "people" But they sure think they are human so they definitely count!! I love our dogs. They each have their own individual personalities. They are hilarious, they love me on my good days and my bad days, they are always someone I can count on to be excited when I walk in the door. AND they are the best cuddle-rs. I love how as soon as Chris leaves for work they all claim their spot next to me in bed. Bailey loves to lay on me and cuddle me and lick me to death. I love how the nights Chris has school they keep me company. They always make me laugh!!

Four

My little brother Kyler. Well.. Little in age, big in height! I cannot believe that he is 17 and next year will be a Senior in high school It seems like just yesterday I was a senior in high school. This boy has overcome a lot in his life. He wasn't always dealt a good hand, but he's made the best of it. He has come SO FAR over the last years and I couldnt be more proud of him. He has made himself a role model to the other boys, and become quite the athlete. I love watching Kyler play ball. He does everything a 17 year old should do. Pour his heart into a sport, get good grades, and love his family unconditionally.

3 in a row? Go me! Although I will probably do all of my posting from the weekend on Monday because we have yet to get a new computer! It is on the to-get list though!

Anywayyyys.. My post today is going to be about my cousin Ashely. Ever since I was young I looked up to her! She was always my gorgeous older cousin that I felt so cool to hang around. As I grew up we got close on a whole new level. A more.."adult" level. I can tell her anything and everything (even the gross TMI stuff hah) and know that 1. I can trust her completely with the information I give her and 2. She will give me the best advice she can! She is always one of the first people I go to with problems, good news, bad news, any news really. When I think I cant do something she reminds me that I can. I try my hardest to be there for her the same way she is with me, and I think I do a pretty good job at it. She's like a sister I've never had. Sometimes you never understand why things happen to such good people. But I know God has GREAT things in store for Ashley. If you cant get through it, he wont bring you to it. I love you Ash!

Today my post about love is about my Grandma Eva =) She's such an amazing lady. She has always helped me whenever I needed anything. She's always the first person I call when I have questions when i'm sick or need any other advice. I still even have friends that to this day will text me and say "Hey lex can you ask your grandma..." I am very blessed to have such an amazing support system. She has helped my mom, brothers and I for many many years. She has picked us up when we needed it most. She has offered her house to us time after time. I wouldn't be half the woman I am today if it wasnt for her. We love you Grandma!!!

26 Days of L-O-V-E

My fellow blogger and good friend Ashley brought up doing 28 days of love to me a few weeks ago and I LOVED the idea. But I totally forgot about it until I read her blog this morning and realized she started! SO instead of 28 days I will do 26 days.. Since I've already missed 2 days this month.

The 26 days of love will be yet again another blogging challenge =) Everyday I will blog about someone I love. These past few months I feel like all of my relationships have been distant. Trying to get settled into the married life and home owner life and juggling friendships is A LOT harder then I ever expected. SO not only is this challenge a good way to start making my blogging a habit, but letting the people in my life know that I do love them!! And I miss them all dearly! I LOVE to spread love, and do things for other people. I love giving gifts in fact I love it so much I have a hard time holding onto gifts which is why I wait until someones BIRTHDAY to buy their gift, or i cant store it for too long without giving in!!

So today I am going to start with no one other then my husband =) I dont know where I'd be in life without him. He's just plain amazing. He is by far the smartest person I know. He is good at everything he does. I love how "handy" he is and is always doing things around the house like painting, hanging stuff for me, etc. He does more for me then I could ever ask for. He spoils me to the max. He is my support system, and I love him for putting up with me when i'm grouchy or just having a bad day. These last couple of weeks I've been SO SO SO tired and I dont know why. But he's been so supportive! He works his butt off full time, school full time and is still able to give me everything a husband should AND then some. Thank you hunny for being such a great husband! I love you dearly and am SO SO SO proud of you for all your hard work and dedication!!!

The Weekend

The weekend came and went already. And now it's only WEDNESDAY. I feel like it should be Friday already. This last weekend was a great one for us =) We FINALLY purchased a truck for Chris. As many of you know he's been bugging for one for while now. Buying a house was our first priority, and I told him after the first of the year we'd look more seriously into it. He has been searching for a truck for a LONG time now. Waiting to see if anything jumped out at him. He had a list of things that he wanted in a truck, since he knows it will be his vehicle for quite a while. There were a few times he almost "settled" and luckily those deals never followed through because this weekend he found his PERFECT match. Everything (for the most part) that he wanted in a truck, it wasnt ancient so I wasnt worried about it dying on us anytime soon, and the best part is it was in our price range!!!!! SO finally Chris has his truck. A 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 with a Hemi =) and I get my car back. He needs to clean it for me though. That thing is a mess from his hunting festivities! Soon it will be my turn to trade in my car for something more family oriented.


We didnt do a whole lot this weekend. Friday went to dinner with some friends after signing on the truck, Saturday Austin's birthday party and Kyler's basketball game. and Sunday we did some shopping and relaxed. I cant believe its almsot February! This month has flown by!! We are in for some changes in February and I'm excited to get it all started.

Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. I'm going to get better about this whole blogging thing. Next step is getting better about taking pictures!!!

The Latest

I cant believe its almost February! That totally blows me away! I know I havent updated for a while and I just wanted to post something really quick to let everyone know I didnt forget I had a blog =) For some reason I'm SO tired today so the long elaborate post I was shooting for, will have to wait until tomorrow.

BUT I can say that my Dad and Step Mom are in San Fransisco for my brother Hunter's Marine Corp graduation. How exciting is that!! I just want to say how extremely proud of Hunter we are! He is going to do some amazing things for this country and we are so VERY lucky to have him serving us. Can't wait for him to come home tomorrow night!!!



Hopefully I can kick this headache that's been lingering the last week and get some blogging going =) Hope everyone is having a fantastic week!!!
